かなしい(悲しい/kanashii)


Meaning

Sad

Example
かなしいはなし(悲しい話/kanashii hanashi)
A sad story

かなしいきもちになった(悲しい気持ちになった/kanashii kimochi ni natta)
I felt sad

そのはなしをきいたあと、かなしいきもちになった(その話を聞いた後、悲しい気持ちになった/sonohanashi wo kiita ato, kanashii kimochini natta)
After listning to that story, (I) felt sad

わたしは(私/watashi)=I

かれは(彼/kare)=He


かのじょは(彼女は/kanojoha)=She

かれらは(彼らは/kareraha)=They

    I think there’s a typo in this line:

    かなしい(悲しい/utsukushi)

    Should it be “kanashii” instead of utsukushi?

    Just thought I’d point that out.
